The Orcus Games: New awakening by Louise Herman
This book falls into the category, tries hard, but doesn’t reach the goal, you know ‘The clubman of the year.’ Louise uses far too many adjectives in her writing at it feels like it was written by a teenage girl. The use of show and not tell, doesn’t allow the story or the character any depth.
The actual premise of Wolf men, Vampires and witches battling it out, with bosses, is good, but the poor style makes it a two star novel that I wouldn’t recommend.
